Welcome to  Chisel. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app and the choices you have associated with that data.

We do not require you to provide us with any personally identifiable information, the app does not have an account system and does not require sign-up.

The app is designed to function offline without any internet access, and we do not collect or store any personal data through the app.

Additionally, an optional feature allows you to backup your project files with Dropbox or Google Drive directly using the APIs provided by these services. We do not store any of your project file data on our own servers; all synchronization processes are handled through the respective APIs of Dropbox and Google Drive to ensure your data remains under your control. You have complete control over the backed up data and can delete it from the web interface of Dropbox or Google Drive respectively.

If you are part of the alpha / beta channels, you have the option to help improve the app by sending us anonymized logs. This is completely voluntary and can be done through a specific button within the app that has to be pushed each time  you want to send logs. The data sent to us is strictly for debugging purposes to enhance app performance and stability. No personal data is collected, and all logs are anonymized before transmission.

3. User-Generated Content

We do not claim ownership of the content you create using Chisel. The ownership of any creations, artwork, or any other content produced by you while using the app remains yours. We do not store or process any of this content on our servers, but as mentioned in 2. you can back up your content directly with Dropbox and Google Drive.

Since we do not collect any personal data, there are no data to delete or manage.

‍Welcome to Chisel by MakerScape! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our VR sculpting application Chisel (the "App") provided by MakerScape Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

‍By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App. However, you own all copyright and intellectual property of your creations inside the App (3d models, textures, materials etc).
